Murals are an awesome way to bring personality and energy into your home, shop, or workspace.

 

The process of getting your own mural planned, designed, and painted is a labor of love. It requires effort, understanding and time from both the patron and the artist. The following information is the process that we will go through, the fees that will need to be paid, and a rough time estimate of each step. These are not absolute and can change as each project is unique, but this is a basic idea of the Mural process for your reference. Please read this thoroughly as you consider getting a custom mural!

 

Step 1: Mural Consultation. via email and video call. (2-3 Days) Fee is due prior to consultation. 

Step 1 Fee: $75

 

Step 2: Designing. (1 week -3 weeks)Once both the patron and artist decide to move forward with the project, the artist will plan a design including the artwork, size, color scheme, and materials needed. The artist will make up to 3 designs if needed for the patron to be satisfied with the mural plan. 50% of the fee is paid before the designs are started, and 50% is paid once the patron has chosen their mural design. 

Step 2 Fee: $600

(+$250 for every design past the 3 designs included)

 

Step 3: In-Person Consultation. (1 week) Once the design to be used is agreed upon, the artist will calculate the material fee and give a more accurate timeline for how long the project will take. Most projects will require an in-person consultation that will happen at this time. The artist will come to inspect the wall/surrounding area. All fees will be due at the time that the second Designing Fee is paid. 

Step 3 Fees: Material fee ($200-$600), In person consultation( $150 + travel fees)

(Travel fees can be estimated during Step 1 if requested.)

 

Step 4: Mural Painting. (2 weeks - 6 weeks)  Finally, the exciting part! Once the artist has okay-ed your space and wall for the mural to be painted, the painting process begins. This most commonly includes a priming coat, the artwork, and a clear varnishing coat. The fee will be calculated by detail and the estimated time of the painting. The price will not change if the mural takes more or less time than expected. 50% of the paining fee is due prior to beginning of the step and 50% is due after the painting is finished. 

Step 4 Fee: Entirely dependent on each project, with a minimum of $500.
